Save your acorns - Virtual learning sessions for children

Posted 11.08.2020

This summer, Director of Investments Rob Gardner from St. James’s Place Wealth Management hosted his first webinar for children on the afternoon of the 31st July.

Rob joined our enthusiastic younger clients, aged up to 7 years-old, to introduce his successful first children’s book ‘Save your Acorns’ over Zoom.

The book itself explores the saving and spending habits of the squirrels and monkeys, to find which of the animals became better off in the long run. Using these examples, Rob guided children through the value of patience and saving, to create something much more valuable in the future.

Not only does the book teach the value of saving, our younger clients were also sent goodie-bags to their home, helping to keep them occupied throughout the summer holidays. Many of our clients have also entered the colouring competition, in the hope of winning a furry character from the book.

If you are looking to keep your children entertained with a fun virtual educational session, Rob will be hosting another webinar for 7-12-year-olds on the 26th August at 12 noon.
