Derby Arena track day helps build wealth of knowledge
The Derby Velodrome recently hosted clients and guests of Derby based wealth management company, Rhodes Wealth Management Ltd.
Experienced and novice cyclist event attendees alike were able to experience a taster session riding on the newly opened indoor velodrome track, led by an experienced cycling coach.
Commenting, Director of Rhodes Wealth Management, Adam Rhodes, said, “It was a fantastic afternoon where the social interaction enabled business owners and advisers to get together to enjoy a common interest whilst also learning how each could help one another in a business context.”
He added: “The feedback from the event was overwhelmingly positive and we intend to repeat the event in the near future.”
The Derby Velodrome opened in March 2015 and cost £28m to build. Based on Pride Park, it can seat 1,500 spectators around the 250 metre cycle track. The new Derby Arena complex has a number of packages available for companies who require a unique venue to host corporate events and team building days and has a suite of multi-purpose rooms, infield sports facilities and state-of-the-art gym and exercise studios.
