Derby based wealth management consultants Rhodes Wealth Management has helped ensure football is an affordable hobby for a local girls and ladies football team by sponsoring two new kits.
Pride Park Juniors and Ladies FC play in the Derbyshire Girls and Ladies League. They regularly seek sponsorship from local companies in order to avoid increasing subscription fees.
Rhodes Wealth Management has donated £500 to sponsor the U12’s and the U14 Aces girls’ teams. This has provided thirty football shirts which have the Rhodes Wealth Management logo printed on the front.
Pride Park Juniors and Ladies FC is an FA Community Charter Standard Club. It caters for over 160 registered players and won the Charter Standard Club of the year award in 2014. A team of dedicated volunteers run the club on a not-for-profit basis, and work together to arrange training and games for twelve teams ranging from U10s through to a ladies open-age team. The club also caters for boys and runs an under 21s team.
Commenting, Club Secretary, Sally Gray said, “Each year we try to avoid increasing the costs of subscriptions to ensure anyone who wants to play this beautiful game is able to take part regardless of their financial circumstances. Sponsorship from businesses is an essential part of being able to keep our subscriptions as low as possible.”
Adam Rhodes, Director of Rhodes Wealth Management said, “I am delighted that we have been able to promote our business whilst also helping a local club to provide coaching and competitive football for young people. Our business is dedicated to helping clients plan for financial security in retirement and keeping fit from a young age is an important aspect of maintaining a long and healthy lifestyle.”
Last year, the U12’s Girls reached the Derbyshire Girls and Ladies League
Challenge Cup final.
