On Thursday 3rd December we were delighted to be (virtually) announced as the winners of the ‘Commitment to People Development’ award in the East Midlands Chamber awards. Rhodes Wealth Management were also shortlisted as finalists in the ‘Excellence in Customer Service’ category.
Passionate about professional development, Adam has grown the business to create an environment that fosters an internal talent pipeline. Team members currently employed as Client Support Specialists or Paraplanners study towards their financial advice exams to work towards becoming advisers.
Our team members join us from a range of backgrounds; some may have gone to university, and some have chosen more practical development paths in the workplace, or apprenticeships. Their journey only strengthens their ability to provide clients with excellent advice, having first-hand experience of support areas.
Not only are support staff studying towards accreditations, but our team of advisers are also continuously looking for opportunities to broaden their advice skillset, and a number of our advisers have this year passed various exams to further enhance the experience provided to our clients. As a practice, we are lucky to have a team of advisers with a range of experience and accreditations.
2020 has been a challenging year, and we have made efforts to support the team as they adjust to working in ever-changing circumstances. Wellbeing surveys have provided an insight into team moral and areas of strength and development and enabled us to tailor our people management to meet their needs.
Although this year has been a rollercoaster, the one thing that has held strong is the team’s ability to collaborate and support one another, across business areas. We are honoured to receive this award and thank all of our client and connections for your support.
