This week marks 15 years since Adam founded RWM. From modest beginnings (in Adam’s garden shed) the business has grown significantly over the years to where we are now; providing first-class wealth management advice to thousands of clients, whilst offering an environment for a brilliant team of people to be the best version of themselves.
Starting the business in 2007, amidst the global financial crisis, Adam successfully chartered the perilous waters of the early years, before moving into an office on Pride Park, Derby, in 2012 and employing his first member of staff, Sharon, who is still very much part of the RWM fabric today. Adam recruited his first adviser in 2014 and steadily the business has grown since then.
In 2018 the business had outgrown Pride Park, which meant relocation to the beautiful Derbyshire Dales village of Brailsford, which is where we remain today. In 2019 we agreed to merge with another St. James’s Place Practice and quickly became one of the largest wealth management practices in The Midlands. In 2021, despite the ongoing pandemic, RWM opened a further office in West Bridgford, Nottingham, in order to meet the requirements and expectations of our Nottingham based clients.
One of Adam’s passions in life (in addition to providing financial advice) is developing people and talent. At Rhodes Wealth Management we are proud to invest in our people, currently half of our Advisers had never previously given financial advice before joining RWM, and we are delighted that we have a further FIVE advisers currently in the final stages of training to join our team and deliver outstanding client outcomes for a further 15 years and beyond.
